On 19-20 June 2021, the School of Engineering and Technology, Walailak University, are together with the Academic Service Center received budget supported by the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) aimed to organize an online eCamp Next Gen camp activity via Zoom Meeting system with junior high school students (M.1 – M.2) from various schools across the upper southern region of 123 people, 72 teams from 10 schools, 5 provinces in the upper southern region participating in learning the theory Introduction to electronics, measuring instruments and Electronic circuit board connection Learn how to use KidBright boards and how to create electronic projects.

          The event was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Amonsak Sawasdee, Director of Academic Service Center presided over the opening ceremony and welcomed the participants including being honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Charoenkiat Phochaiya and Lecturer Korakot Suwannarat from the School of Engineering and Technology who provided some basic knowledge to the students which might cause inspirations to them to become an inventor electronic products and be the basis for further education, research and development in the future.

          From this training, the project would select 2 teams of young people representing the upper southern region to participate in training activities and compete in the electronics project contest on the topic of “Energy and the Environment near you” at the national level.
