On March 15, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwit Wuthisuthimethavee, Vice President of Walailak University, visited the construction site of the Sirin Museum to monitor its progress and provide guidance on operational improvements. Overall, the structural construction and utility system installations were nearing completion. Dr. Suwit instructed Siam Thammanon Company, the construction contractor, to expedite the exhibition setup and interior decoration work to ensure completion by September 2024.
This activity forms part of Walailak University’s initiative to provide free public access to museums, exhibition spaces or galleries, or works of art and artefacts, in support of the SDGs, particularly SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
