On 6 April 2021, Asst. Prof. Jiraphat Nawarat, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wiyada Kwanhian Klangbud, Dr. Salila Cetthakrikul, Dr. Charupa Lektip, School of Allied Health Sciences and the staff of The Center for Academic Service, Walailak University had made it a priority to do regular home visits to provide basic health check-ups and screening, as well as organizing the general exercise and health education sessions in Wang Ang subdistrict, Cha Aut district, Nakhon Si Thammarat. The activity was held under the projects of “Raising the Safe Local Vegetable for Supporting Community – based Tourism” supported by Office of the Royal Development Projects Board with By His Majesty Administration and Coordination Center for Pak Phanang River Basin Development Initiated, and the Project of “Consulting Services and Problem Solving on Occupational Technology in the Community” supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and other involved organizations with the aim of generating and developing novel solutions for individuals and communities to live well, both physically and psychologically.
In addition, the health activity could promote the well-being of people leading to efficient work and a better quality of life. There were 60 participants taking part in it, including the village headmen. The event was completed with the assistance of all the staff with warm welcome given by the locals.
