On 9 April 2021, Ass. Prof. Jiraphat Nawarat, School of Allied Health Sciences and the staff of The Center for Academic Service, Walailak University had made it a priority to do regular home visits to provide basic health check-ups and screening, as well as organizing the general exercise and health education sessions at Tubtim Siam Pomelo Learning Center, Klong Noy subdistrict, Pak Phanang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat. The activity was held under the projects of “Bio-Agriculture Safe”, and the Project of “Consulting Services and Problem Solving on Occupational Technology in the Community” supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation with the aim of generating and developing novel solutions for individuals and communities to live well, both physically and psychologically.
In addition, the health activity could promote the well-being of people leading to efficient work and a better quality of life. There were 15 participants taking part in it, including the village headmen. The event was completed with the assistance of all the staff with warm welcome given by the locals.
