On 24 February and 10 March 2022, Asst. Prof. Jiraphat Nawarat, Deputy Director of Walailak University Hospital, Dr. Charupa Lektip, School of Allied Health Sciences, and the staff of the Center for Academic Services, Walailak University, organized workshops, with the aim of transferring knowledge on risk factor management, and injury and illness prevention to enhance the productive capacity and local productivity growth for the farmers and representatives from local governments in Pak Phanang District and Cha-uat District, Nakhon Si Thammarat. The staff informed the medical check-up results such as stretching, muscle strength and endurance, and pulmonary function test. The workshops were integrated with activity-based learning and subsidized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, with the mission to help and give advice in solving the lack of agricultural innovation, knowledge, and technology.

          Moreover, the workshops were operated in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages,  especially reducing the number of deaths and illnesses from hazardous chemicals and air, water, and soil pollution and contamination and strengthening the capacity of all countries, in particular developing countries, for early warning, risk reduction and management of national and global health risks. The Center for Academic Service was grateful to the staff of teachers, communities, and representatives from various organizations for making the events successful.
