Research Management Network in the Upper South Organized Activities to Present Research Project Proposals Fiscal Year 2023 (Preliminary Research, challenging issues based on the BCG economic context and Preliminary Research, 3 pilot study issues)

Research management network in the upper south, Walailak University as the host higher education institution organized activity to present proposals for the development of networks of higher education institutes for research and innovation to transfer technology to local communities C2 subnet and Network of Higher Education Institutions for Public-Private Joint Research and Development in Commercial (C8) for the fiscal year 2023. The activity was held on Friday, May 5, 2023, via the Zoom Meeting system. The objective is to make the operation of the research management network in the upper southern region of C2 and C8 as efficient and most beneficial as possible.

The activity was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Amonsak Sawusdee, Director of the Center for Academic Services, at Walailak University, Chairman of the Research Management Network of the Upper Southern Region. Moreover, there were executive representatives of 11 higher education institutions in the upper southern region (King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang Prince of Chumphon Campus, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, Surat Thani Rajabhat University, Phuket Rajabhat University, Prince of Songkhla University Surat Thani Campus, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Maejo University at Chumphon, Tapee University, Phang-Nga Community College, and Ranong Community College).

It was also honored by external experts: Ms. Keerati Kaewsamrit, Director of the Driving and Development Group, Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Policy and Strategy Division 3, the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chedsada Mingchai, Vice President of Uttaradit Rajabhat University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aphinun Suvarnaraksha, Director of The Office of Agricultural Research and Extension Maejo University being the committee considers and selects project proposals according to the project requirements (TOR) of the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation to provide comments and suggestions that are beneficial to research projects.

Now, the results have ended. The network therefore would like to thank all 12 researchers under the upper southern region for their interest in submitting the proposal on this occasion.
