On June 19, 2023, Walailak University, through the School of Engineering and Technology, Thailand, in collaboration with Vellore Institute of Technology, a private research-deemed university located in Katpadi in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India, co-organized an online workshop titled “EV Motor Design and Control for Sustainability”, which was presided over by Dr. D. Elangovan, Deputy Director of TIFAC CORE, India.

The momentous workshop encompassed three main topics: E-Motors Design with Simulation, Intelligent Controller for E-Motors, and EV Battery Charging Infrastructure. Through these sessions, participants gained insights into optimizing electric vehicle propulsion systems. It also served as a platform for disseminating valuable knowledge and fostering networking opportunities with the aim of mobilizing the future of electric mobility toward a cleaner and greener transportation ecosystem.
