On June 13, 2023, the School of Engineering and Technology at Walailak University, a Frontier Research University in Thailand, established partnerships with Vellore Institute of Technology, India, in order to organize an esteemed international seminar titled “Smart Microgrid and Sustainable Mobility,” presided over by Dr. D. Elangovan, Deputy Director of TIFAC CORE, India.

The seminar revolved around three pivotal topics, namely Smart Energy Management for DC Microgrids, Advancement in Smart E-Mobility, and Advancement in Power Electronics for Microgrids. These cutting-edge technologies have the potential to significantly enhance the efficiency, reliability, and resilience of microgrids, thereby rendering them a more compelling choice for both communities and businesses.
