On November 5, 2024, The Botanic Park, Walailak University, organized an academic service activity titled “Science Camp” for 41 high school students from Panyasantham Foundation School, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The program aimed to enhance students’ scientific knowledge and environmental awareness through hands-on learning experiences. Activities included Eco Print, where students learned to create natural patterns using plant materials, and an Herbal Garden tour, which introduced them to various medicinal plants and their benefits.
This activity forms part of Walailak University’s initiative to provide free public access to open spaces and green spaces, in support of the SDGs, particularly SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
