On the morning and afternoon of Wednesday, December 25, 2024, the Walailak University Botanic Park warmly welcomed students and teachers from Suratpittaya School 2, Surat Thani Province, including 270 students from grades 10 and 12. The visit offered students a chance to explore the diverse plant collections and ecosystems within the Botanic Park and an exciting climb to the top of the WU Bota Sky Tower, where they enjoyed panoramic views of the university campus and surrounding landscapes. The activity aimed to enhance students’ understanding of botany, environmental conservation, and the importance of nature in daily life.

This activity forms part of Walailak University’s initiative to provide free public access open spaces and green spaces, in support of the SDGs, particularly SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
