Walailak University, through the Center for Digital Technology, has launched four sub-systems under the WU-HRMS (Walailak University Human Resources Management Information System) to mark the beginning of a new era.
The WU-HRMS was developed by the Research and Information System Development Division of the Center for Digital Technology. Development began in the fiscal year 2021 with the aim of creating an integrated system to support all university units involved in human resource management. The system is designed to operate on both web-based and mobile platforms, serving as a centralized database for the university’s entire HR management process.
To date, six sub-systems have been developed, with four sub-systems officially launched and operational, including:
• Leave Management System
• Welfare and Benefits System
• Overtime Management System
• Recruitment and Selection System
This activity forms part of Walailak University’s initiative to promote and allow telecommuting and remote working for employees as a matter of policy and standard practice, in support of the SDGs, particularly SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
