On 18 January 2024, Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Nukul Suksuwan, Assistant to the President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatchai Kanlayanapaphon, Acting Director of the WU Botanic Park, and the project team, conducted an on-site inspection and progress review of the Sirin Museum at Walailak University.

During the visit, the President provided guidance on interior decoration to suit the building’s large, open spaces, emphasizing careful design to maximize both aesthetics and functionality. He also offered suggestions for landscape design around the museum, aiming to create a beautiful and engaging learning environment that brings enjoyment to all visitors and users of the museum.

The construction project is part of Walailak University’s initiative to promote constructing buildings on brownfield sites, supporting the SDGs—particularly SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
