WU Integrates SDGs into Curriculum to Foster SDG Literacy among Students

Walailak University has officially integrated the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into all subjects across its academic programs to enhance SDG literacy among students. This initiative is implemented through the Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (TQF) under the WU TQF system, ensuring that sustainability principles are embedded in course design, learning outcomes, and assessment processes.

The integration began in the 2022 academic year and continues with all revised subjects in 2024, reflecting the university’s strong commitment to preparing graduates who are not only competent in their fields but also socially responsible and sustainability-minded. By linking academic learning with the SDGs, Walailak University aims to equip students with the knowledge, values, and skills necessary to contribute effectively to sustainable development at local, national, and global levels.

This initiative reflects a commitment of WU to meaningful education around the SDGs across the university, relevant and applicable to all students.
