THA SALA, NAKHON SI THAMMARAT, 17 August 2026 — Walailak University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Amonsak Sawusdee, Director of the Center for Academic Services (CAS), together with the CAS staff, welcomed a delegation of executives and staff from Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Apirak Songrak, Vice President, and Dr. Panumas Suibangdam, Vice President.
The visit aimed to facilitate a study visit and the exchange of academic knowledge and best practices in driving the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings.
The study visit focused on exchanging knowledge and experiences regarding the operations of the Center for Academic Services in promoting and supporting global university rankings, particularly the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Rankings and the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings. The visit was intended to enhance the delegation’s knowledge and understanding of university ranking processes and enable RMUTSV to apply these practices to improve the efficiency of its own university ranking operations.
Walailak University was recognized as a highly suitable institution for learning and knowledge exchange in this area, as well as a model for learning best practices in advancing sustainable development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
During the visit, Asst. Prof. Dr. Amonsak Sawusdee, Director of the Center for Academic Services, together with his team, engaged in discussions and shared knowledge, experiences, and best practices with the delegation from Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya.
