Integrated pest management for crop production: The Prototype Community

Bio-agriculture Safe Project leads by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Warin Intana, Walailak University is a technology to apply a highly efficient Trichoderma NST-009 in controlling various plant diseases, also using Beaveraria and Metarhizium fungi to control pests. By transferring the technology of reproducing and effective utilizing of fungi, cost reduction and increasing of crop value to 120 farmers in the four districts of Nakhon Si Thammarat province. These include Durian growers in Taling Chan sub-district, Tha Sala district; Tub Tim Siam Pomelo Growers in Khlong Noi sub-district, Pak Phanang district; and Mangosteen Growers in Ban Ko subdistrict, Phrom Khiri district, and Lan Saka sub-district, Lan Saka district.
