Smile & Smart Center: Provide Students and Staff with Access to Free Mental Health Promotion
Division of Student Support and Development of Walailak University organized guidance services and suggestions to be the mechanism of student assistance solving for the promotion of physical, mental, wisdom, solving, graduate good mental well-being.
In the past operation, defensive services could not thoroughly reach students with mental problems and psychiatry. However, it has a few users. In the school year of 2018, the Division of Student Support and Development collab with all of the schools in Walailak University to promote the potential of Walailak University’s students to be smart, good, and happy: Smile & Smart Center. It created coordination of student proactive and integrated implementation professionally. Also, there is a setting the place for service under the name of Smile & Smart center. The experts will advise to promote the student to be a good student, self-adjustment, and enjoy their life with free fee.
Smile & Smart Center has implemented a check on the mental health of the student at Walailak University. It is for giving information to the student facing health psychiatry problems, and if we found the suffers, we would assist and coordinate with schools. So, the suffers can get the correct advice from the leader of the project and helper of all schools which passed the training and can give the advice.
Psychiatry student collaborations with all schools, Smile clinic, and Walailak University Hospital operate to reduce psychiatry of student efficiency and rapidity, reducing unnecessary processes. Though students satisfying and understanding with co-workers, being a guideline, spending time taking care of psychiatry students as pick-up, dropped the student properly. Also, there are no critical problems following and creating efficiency in terms of prevention the psychiatry in Walailak University by the target of Walailak University, which is creating a good graduate with smart, good, happy, healthy, and good mental. It can graduate and develop the country for moving forward.
The operation of Smile & Smart Center is properly managed with the academic standard, becoming this research, Smile & Smart Center (The Development of Smile and Smart Center, a Student Caring System, to Support Smart, Good, and Happy Students), Royal Thai Medical Journal, 48(2), (2521): May-August 2021.

The center has a staff advisor including psychology, psychiatric nurse, and psychiatrist that assist the student with stress, panic to understand yourself, create a target, and solve together in the individual and group model and giving suggestions from Smile Chat as follows:
