Walailak University continues to expand academic collaboration with UPNVJ, Indonesia

on Tuesday, 21st December 2021, Prof. Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, Acting President of Walailak University, presided over a virtual MOU signing ceremony between Walailak University and Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ), Indonesia at Khao Luang Chamber, Cooperative Education Building, Walailak University. The MOU was strongly initiated by the Center for International Affairs and WU four key schools namely School of Nursing, School of Engineering and Technology, School of Management and School of Public Health since 25th November 2021. The objectives of the collaboration aim to develop and strengthen more academic cooperation mainly related to SDG 4, especially in student, academic and administrative staff exchange, joint research on scientific and technological subjects, joint symposiums, lectures and conference, exchange of academic findings, publications, and other academic mutual educational co-operation between the two universities. The collaboration was not limited only to the four mentioned schools, but also covered to other interested schools who wish to implement any type of academic activities in the future.
