Upgrading Air Conditioners to High-Efficiency Models

%Implemented
87.19%

The office buildings at Walailak University are now equipped with inverter-type air conditioners that allow individual temperature control for each room through a small modular system. These air conditioners carry the Energy Efficiency Label No. 5, meeting the high standards set by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and the Ministry of Energy. Additionally, the installation of VRV or VRF systems has provided precise temperature control, enhancing thermal comfort and reducing electricity usage by up to 40% compared to traditional systems. The university also implemented a system for controlling air conditioning based on class schedules and monitoring temperature, further boosting efficiency. In 2024, 3,820 out of 4,381 air conditioners, or 87.19%, were replaced with high-efficiency models.

Energy-Saving Computers

%Implemented
