Subsequently, the university hosts vocational training events at university that are open to the general public in the form of both program and ad-hoc events, aiming to provide short-and long-term educational opportunities to local communities. The courses are carefully designed, emphasizing practical, hands-on learning and flexible scheduling and content, to promote lifelong learning and empower communities.

Short-term Vocational Training Events
The short-term vocational training events aim to enhance the skills and capabilities of the public, helping them to secure stable jobs. These events integrate with various local potentials, focusing on providing education that leads to career development. The university organizes these events on an ongoing basis every year. Some of the key details include: The Science and Technology Park hosts a vocational training event at Walailak Culinary Training Center for training a kimchi-making workshop for the general public and those interested in using it as a guideline for creating a vocation. The atmosphere within the event was professional, fun, and friendly. The event was honored by the lecturer from the school of agricultural Technology and Food Industry, who led the kimchi fermentation class. Then, in the afternoon, the lecturer from the School of Management conducted a cooking session using kimchi, and students from Walailak University’s Pro Chef program also assisted during the event.

Additionally, there is a training event aimed at improving the professional skills of pharmacists. This program is designed to update pharmacists with the latest academic knowledge in the field, enabling them to apply this knowledge efficiently in their work, in line with the healthcare service development plan. It also supports the continuous education activities of the Pharmacy Council to further enhance pharmacists’ expertise.

Career Development Promotion Events

The Center for Academic Services organizes career development promotion events for the surrounding community. One such initiative is a knowledge-sharing program for the local swine-raising community of Satit Walailak Pattana Community. The program aims to improve the knowledge of disease prevention in swine, with key topics including:
