Walailak University Promotes Good Governance at Sri Tawee Temple Through Buddhist Principles
The target group consisted of 15 people, including:
1. Students: 5 people
2. Staff: 10 people
Total hours of the activity: 4 hours
Walailak University, represented by faculty members from the School of Accountancy and Finance and the School of Law, visited Sri Tawee Temple to gather data and exchange information with the abbot regarding the temple’s accounting system and related matters. As part of the visit, WU collaborated with temple staff to assess transparency in temple administration.
The visit was conducted under the “Temple Administration Aligning with Good Governance” project, a joint initiative by Walailak University, the Buddhadasa Indapanno Archives, and the Foundation for Public Policy and Good Governance, with support from the Thai CG Fund. The project aims to align Buddhist temple administration with the foundation’s nine principles of good governance by providing strategic recommendations and support to ensure transparent and ethical management practices.
