Walailak University Promotes Good Governance at Sri Tawee Temple Through Buddhist Principles
The target group consisted of 10 people, including:
1. Students: 5 people
2. Staff: 5 people
Total hours of the activity: 8 hours
Walailak University, led by Dr. Kanokwan Meesook, Miss Alisara Saramolee, Mr. Watcharawat Promma, and Miss Praphada Srisuwan from the School of Accountancy and Finance, along with Dr. Denkhun Thummanitchayuth and Miss Amonrat Ammartsena from the School of Law, visited Wang Tawan Tok Temple to provide guidance on financial and accounting management. The team also gathered data and worked on drafting essential regulations and a self-evaluation form for the temple’s administration.
The drafted documents cover five key areas:
1. Regulations on Procurement
2. Regulations on Temple Administration B.E. 2567
3. Regulations on Petty Cash
4. Regulations on Disbursement
5. Performance Evaluation Form for the Wang Tawan Tok Temple Committee (Self-Evaluation) for the Year 2567
This initiative is part of the “Temple Administration Aligning with Good Governance” project, a collaboration between Walailak University, the Buddhadasa Indapanno Archives, and the Foundation for Public Policy and Good Governance, funded by the Thai CG Fund. The project aims to align Buddhist temple administration with nine principles of good governance by providing strategic recommendations and support to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability.
