CAS Launching Sanitary Napkin Distribution Scheme to Promote Reproductive Healthcare Access

The target group consisted of 250 people, including:
1. Students: 200 people
2. Staff: 50 people
Total hours of the activity: 4 hours

Walailak University, through the Center for Academic Services (CAS), launched a Sanitary Napkin Distribution Scheme to provide free access to sanitary napkins for female students and staff. The distribution took place at the WU Bota Market in the WU Botanic Park.
This initiative emphasizes gender equality by improving access to reproductive health resources for female students and staff. It aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 5: Gender Equality, which promotes empowerment for all women and girls; SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, ensuring health and well-being for all; and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, aiming to reduce inequalities within and between countries.
