Electric Shuttle Bus Service

Electric Shuttle Bus Routes and Timetable

Walailak University operates a fleet of 20 electric shuttle buses for staff, along with an electric golf cart available to both students and staff. These shuttles run across five key routes, including the main campus, dormitories, sports stadium, hospital, library, Walailak Park, and the university’s entrance, with service hours from 7 AM to 9 PM daily. Each shuttle accommodates an average of 350 passengers per day, contributing to a total of approximately 7,000 passengers served across the campus. The shuttles collectively complete around 330 trips each day, with each shuttle averaging 16-17 trips. Passengers can track the number of shuttles operating in the university via the E-bus tracking system in real time during working hours.

These zero-emission vehicles not only enhance campus mobility but also contribute to cleaner air and a healthier environment for the university community.

Electric Shuttle Bus Tracking Systems

Walailak University has developed and launched a real-time electric vehicle tracking application, aimed at enhancing transportation efficiency and safety within the campus. The primary applications for tracking the electric vehicle service are: Walailak University Application and Via Bus

These applications have been specifically designed to meet the needs of students and staff, offering the following key features:

Real-time vehicle tracking: Users can check the real-time location of electric vehicles, allowing them to plan their trips accurately within the university campus.

Passenger count display: The application shows the number of passengers on each vehicle, helping users decide the most convenient time to board.

Travel time information: Users can view the remaining time before the vehicle reaches its destination, as well as detailed information on various service routes.

Notifications and vehicle status updates: Users receive notifications about service changes or issues, minimizing inconvenience and ensuring smoother travel experiences.
