Walailak University allocates less than 1% of its total area for parking. This is part of the university’s campaign to reduce the use of personal cars and encourage students and staff to use the electric shuttle bus service. As a result, the university has converted some parking areas into spaces for students to organize outdoor activities, such as the Chan-Pradoo Market on Monday evenings, graduation events, and other activities.
The university has a total area of 15,350,400 square meters, with a total parking area of 40,063.63 square meters.This means that the ratio of parking space to the total area of the university is approximately 0.26 %.
