An On-Site Analysis of Tap Water Quality at the Na Thap Village Water Supply Community Enterprise by Walailak University
The target group consisted of 25 people, including:
1. Students: 10 people
2. Staff: 15 people
Total hours of the activity: 4 hours
On September 5, 2024, the Center for Academic Services, in collaboration with the School of Management, Walailak University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Laksanara Khwanchum, conducted an on-site inspection and analysis of tap water quality at the Na Thap Village Water Supply Community Enterprise in Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
The objective of this initiative was to assess the quality of tap water and explore ways to improve it to meet higher standards. Water samples were collected from various sources within the community enterprise, and chemical and physical parameters of the water were analyzed. The data obtained from this analysis will be utilized to enhance the community’s water management system, ensuring cleaner and safer water for residents.
This water quality analysis initiative is part of an effort to support and promote efficient and sustainable community water resource management. The project aligns with SDG6 SDG17. Additionally, this initiative contributes to the objectives of the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings
