2. Staff: 5 people
Total hours of the activity: 4 hours

Walailak University, led by faculty members from the School of Accountancy and Finance, organized a meeting with Phramaha Somchai Phaphakaro and devoted followers to collect key data on Wimuttitham Temple. The meeting was part of the “Temple Administration Aligning with Good Governance” project, aimed at strengthening governance practices in Buddhist temples.

The data collection focused on three key areas:
1. Fundamental information about the temple.
2. Financial and accounting management, including financial reports.
3. Good governance evaluation.

Walailak University will use this information to develop strategies that align the temple’s administration with good governance principles. The project is a collaboration between Walailak University, the Buddhadasa Indapanno Archives, and the Foundation for Public Policy and Good Governance, with funding from the Thai CG Fund. By applying the foundation’s nine principles of good governance, Walailak University will provide guidance and support to ensure the temple fully integrates transparent and ethical management practices.
