  • Electrical Sub-metering

Walailak University has implemented electrical sub-metering systems in all campus buildings as part of its energy efficiency strategy. Each building is equipped with sub-meters that monitor and record electricity consumption in real-time for specific zones, systems, or major electrical equipment.

  • Renewable Energy (Solar Rooftop)

Walailak University has installed a 2.54 MW solar rooftop system on the Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment building. This system generates sufficient renewable electricity to supply power for all campus buildings, reducing reliance on the conventional grid and lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
