Sustainability and Stewardship Most local communities have faced challenges on accessing sports facilities and exercise spaces, particularly in local schools surrounding the university and among the general public who lack sufficient budgets to provide modern sports facilities and equipment. This issue has affected the health and development of children and youth in the area, as well as the development of sports skills at both the local and national levels. These initiatives can be organized into three main categories: Collaboration with Local Health Institutions Walailak University has established collaborations with Subdistrict Health Promotion Hospitals surrounding the university, including Satit Walailak Pattana Community, Ban Han, and Ban Thung Chon. In 2023, Walailak University actively promoted Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) literacy among wider communities which could include alumni, local residents, and displaced people through a variety of dedicated outreach educational activities.
