Energy Efficient Appliances Usage (EC.1)
Energy and Climate Change (EC) Walailak University is dedicated to energy conservation and sustainability, as demonstrated by its efficient use of energy-saving electrical appliances. In 2024, the university achieved significant progress by upgrading 95.73% of its electrical appliances to energy-efficient models. This includes a complete switch to 100% LED bulbs, the replacement of 87.19% of old air conditioners with high-efficiency units, and the use of 100% energy-saving computers. Compared to 2023, these efforts have resulted in a 3.67% increase in the efficiency of electrical appliances.
